Hey ladies! Sorry the account has been a little inactive, Summer's been on vacation and I am caught in the crossfire of trying to pick a good outfit for the first bar mitzvah I'm going to for Evan and I've been shopping and returning with my mom all over creation. Anyway.
One thing on my summer bucket list is DEFINITELY to dip-dye my hair. The easiest way? Kool-Aid. So learn how here!

♥ YOU SHOULD KNOW ♥
- It's totally temporary
- Lasts 4-8 weeks with regular washing
- It's a nice way to try out cute colors
- Tropical Punch is the most common color used
- The color will change and fade over weeks
- If you are darkhaired, it might only show up as highlights
- If you want it to go away more quickly, wash your hair 4-5 times in an inexpensive shampoo like VO5.
- Have fun! Wear old or useless clothes and I recommend doing it outside.
♥ STUFF YOU NEED ♥
- 1 packet of sugar-free Kool-Aid
- 1 cup of water
- 1 saucepan
- 1 pot holder
- 1 heat-proof spoon
- 1 container
- 1 towel
- paper towels
♥ WHAT TO DO ♥
1. Boil the water in a saucepan. Holding the pan with an oven mitt, carefully pour the boiling water into the container. Mix the Kool-Aid into the container and let it cool for 2 minutes.
2. Drape a towel over your shoulders and find a comfortable position where you can dip the ends of your hair into the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.
3. Carefully remove your hair from the bowl and blot it lightly with a paper towel, just enough to remove the drips -- don't rub! Don't let the dye drip anywhere but the towel because it will stain.
4. Let your hair dry naturally.
5. Wait between 24-48 hours before washing your hair again.
Hope you guys liked the tip! I really want to do this, and some of the info I got from a friend who did this. I think it looks SO cute! Be sure to leave a comment if you tried it or if you've done it before. Love ya!
